“Kids stop running in the house!” Mom starts yelling at all of the kids that are playing tag in the living room. “Kids listen to your mother, Reece and Kelsee please come here”. Dad is telling us to go to the kitchen. We thought that we were in trouble because we didn’t listen to their instructions. “We need to talk to you both real quick… Please sit down.” My brother and I sat on our parents lap and waiting for them to start talking to us. As soon as we sat down, they held our hands and the tears started to come down everybody’s cheek.

Narrative Introduction
“Dad, she’s pregnant.” I said as I lay down on the cold concert in an alleyway, with my dad lying next to me. With a group of people around us with guns pointing at our bodies. Every time one of us said something, we get hit a crossed the face with a barrel of a gun. Thoughts go racing throw my mind. Our knuckles are bloody as well as our face. There’s blood draining down through the alleyway, a mix of theirs and ours. I just want to go home, but the way it looks is we are going somewhere but not home. Tears run down my face as one of the guys grab me. My dad says get your hand off my son. Then smack he got hit in the face with a gun. They beat me and threw me down by my dad. My dad looks and me and said, “Who’s pregnant?” I said, “Who do you think?”

Someone that’s different then the rest. Someone that’s from the west. They dress different, so they’re weird. They are full of hate, so everyone decides they don’t want to be their mate. They listen to different music, and go against what most believe. When their not around what a relieve. Chooses not to believe the set standard of society, chooses to be free, to be independent, open minded, their own person. But since their not like you, have different opinions and views, your hate for them worsens.

Pain
She sits there all alone
Everyone looks but says nothing
She always goes to school with her head down
Tears roll down her face
Others look and stare
Not knowing what she’s going through
She asks for help
But others turn away
She tries her best to fit in
She realizes that everything goes against her values
She cry’s herself to sleep
And wakes up to find herself in the same pain
She tries to escape the pain
But it won’t leave her side
She thinks about her ex
Wondering when can she move on
She thinks about her baby girl
Always crying because she’s not with her
She tries to help others and save them
But they don’t understand the words she speaks
But at the end she realizes that she can only save herself.

I hate a lot of things. I hate the fact that the media brain-washes its viewers, so you only see one side of the story, or that some stories don’t get put on because they won’t get more views, or won’t interest the public. I hate how our government lies to us, brainwashes its people, into making them believe what they want them to believe. I hate how a bunch of people can just start a war, and terrorize other countries for reasons they made up, and for actions their responsible for. I hate the lies, the corruption, the evil of this nation.

METH
Meth does you no good
Meth does you harm it
Shows from the tracks
On your arms it shows
You don’t care about
What you love most
For example your family
And friends the only
Thing you want in life
Is to get high you sell
Your booty just to
Get high its sad that
I say this but I know
Its true cuz you screw
Your self in the end
Its sad to see you high
In the past you have
Died on me before
I just cant take the
Pain anymore.

Jail
Jail? I never actually thought that I could ever write a paper on being in jail for seven days. When a person has never been through that experience, they may think that it’s a harsh place that no one could survive unless you are hard on the inside. But I’m not going to lie, I am a softy and I went and survived. Jail is bad enough that you don’t want to go back, but it’s not like any of the horrible stories I thought it would be.
When a person gets “booked” in, they sit in a holding cell until the nurse is ready to see them. When the nurse is ready to see the person the door clicks open with a buzzing noise followed by a loud bang and the deputy, guard, or whoever will direct you where to go. When the nurse calls you in, he/she will ask all the regular questions any doctor would want to know before you went in to see him. But it is mandatory for the nurse to give you a TB shot to make sure that you are not infected. If the area around where the shot injected fluid into you turns dark brown or black and creates a bump then they will know if you have it. I didn’t meet any one who had it so I am pretty fortunate.
We, my seven roommates and I, sat in our cell and slept all day pretty much. We get woken up around 6 am and go through head count, which is where the guard or whoever is working will come in our dorm and say our last names and we would say here just so she would know we were all there, then we wait for meds. When we are done taking our meds, we waited for breakfast, which is really nasty. Usually for breakfast we had this yucky oatmeal with sugar water poured onto it and maybe a boiled egg, hard toast and milk. Right after we are done eating, we have to clean our room. Then we slept until we could get out of our room.
When we were let out of our room, we got to either read, watch t.v. or play board games or make a collect call to someone who will accept the call. But that is at least one day in jail. The nights are cold and the showers are embarrassing. The toilet is right there in front of all of your roommates to see. I guess if you don’t care to go to the bathroom or shower in front of people ,or like nasty food , or like to do nothing all day then jail is the place for you. But it is definitely not the place for me.

A bottle tells me to come back its my life my dreams I drink. The bottle is evil with a label. I say no don’t come to me. Stay away, it keeps coming closer to my heat more then my hand. I give in the liquid flows threw my body like blood flows threw my veins. The liquid in the bottle burns. It’s a killer to the kidneys they scream but not like my liver begs me to stop. I drop to my knees to beg like a dog hailing to the moon. I ask god to help. My shirt is ripped the smell keeps the flies away. As I cry.
Its dark only the moon is shining as I cry in a ally. I keep falling like a wounded solder but I’m not a hero. The bottle falls with me. It’s glued to my hand. I’m killing my self but it fills good. The bad goes away only good fillings to me. A kid sees me she starts crying in the dark I'm ashamed I know that girl. It’s my daughter that’s crying. We’re in hell and I’m the devil.

This picture brings to mind a very peaceful feeling. It reminds me if the way things are supposed to be. Like not disturbed by people, very natural. I could enjoy the sounds of birds and the water. I love to feel the sun on my face and take hikes. This seems like the perfect place to do these things. My perfect day would be spent in a place like this or in any natural peaceful place. It is a very beautiful place. I figure if we could go back and really look at how nature can affect the mood of a person, we wouldn’t as a race be destroying so many forests to build houses on because we as a people are naturally selfish. I thoroughly enjoy nature. it is a good place to think with no materialistic noises no car horns, angry screaming people, smoke stacks polluting the air, there is nothing but simplicity. For me it is very pleasing and peaceful.

Life poem
They tell you life is all about glamour, money, and fame. They say that if you buy those one-hundred dollar shoes you will become insanely famous, that if you buy
A fifty-thousand dollar suit you will be like James Bond and get all the girls. But that isn’t life.
Real life is watching your best friend die from a gunshot, parents doing drugs just
A room away, and there is no one to, no one to care. It’s drowning in an ocean of
Depression, sinking farther and farther down not knowing if your swimming up or
Down but knowing, dying for a breath of fresh sweet air.
And just as you hit the sand and begin to slowly sink through it and into that black
Void a hand comes down and pulls you up. It could be someone taking you to
Prom, or getting to say “I do” at your wedding, it would simply be your baby’s first smile.
These are the breaths of air to keep going. Money is just something to help
You survive in this world, the past is gone, the future a distant promise, but the present is a gift worth savoring.

Hollow walls
Deep down in the water,
So far you can’t see.
Don’t want to come up,
Don’t want to breath.
Looking for the stuff I want,
Looking for the stuff I need,
Looking for this,
Beneath you and me.
You knew I was there when you said hi,
You knew I was there when you said goodbye,
Now its time to say hello,
So don’t say goodbye.
I’m just another lost soil looking inside,
Looking inside those hollow walls,
Take a step inside and watch us fall.
Fall so far you can’t see,
Fall so far you don’t want to breathe.
We finally hit the ground beneath our feet.
We look around at the wonderful scenery,
As if we long for love again.
Wrap my arms around you and love again.

I think that hamlet was going to say when he died is to tell his story because he thinks that his story is very important of all the stuff he did in his life. I think that he is dead and cannot talk any more. Which explains why, because dead people cannot talk. I think that Hamlets friend herotio is sad because of hemlets death. I think that the moral of the story in hamlet is that murder is wrong and is looked down upon and that its eye for an eye. So if you kill someone then you should be killed. The theme is think is that vengence isn’t always sweet. Hamlet seeked revenge for his father and it just led to more blood shed and deaths. I think that I didn’t get anything out of hamlet, because hamlet is really boring and confusing, even in the modern verson, its still very hard to understand and I just don’t like it.

Music influences
Music can have a lot of meaning depending on the subject.
Music can also have a huge impact on a person. And whoever thinks otherwise needs to wake up. Look at all of the gang influence with some rappers. Us teens have impressionable minds. We see these big time rappers making money by talking about sex and drugs and being in gangs and how they just float through life kicking it with their homies. We think this is real and try to be more like them and kids screw themselves and get unrealistic ideas on how to live life. Don’t get me wrong you can be whatever you want people just need to realize that you may have to work for it.

Well I believe freedom is very important. I believe that we should be willing to fight for our freedom as well. The reasoning for this is if America is good enough for us to live in peace and freedom, then it should be good enough for us to put our life on the line like so many of our fellow Americans have done. I believe it is our right as well as our responsibility to help us remain free. I believe in order to live in complete safety we have to go through the rough times and that is part of what makes freedom so great. Think about it if every thing was easy would we really appreciate any thing we have? If we earn what we get then do you think we would take things for granted as much? I think not. Although many people enjoy having freedom they feel no responsibility to keeping us such. In my opinion that is wrong.
