I went to Montana a few years back to see my grandpa that I have not seen for a few years, to go fishing, and hunting, with him for a few weeks.
When I was out there I went fishing and hunting several times during those two weeks, one of the lakes we went to was called canyon ferry.
When we went fishing there we would go out probably about five in the morning, and would stay out there tell about two in the afternoon.
We usually caught a lot of fish when we went out.
The first time I ever went out on the lake I caught one four pound rainbow trout, and one three and a half rainbow trout.
My grandpa caught one walleye.
The four and a half pound trout that we caught we put it on the medal stringer and threw it outside the boat and forgot about it and took off and the medal stringer ended up breaking and we lost the fish.
The other two fish we took home and cooked them and ate them later that day.
Some other places we went were up in Harlowton in eastern Montana about two hours away from my grandpas house.
We went up to a reservoir that was up there and a couple of creeks, and rivers that were up there and we usually always caught something.
The fish that we caught were usually only brook trout, rainbow trout, and sometimes browns and cutthroats if we were lucky.
We went out and shot gophers usually every day early in the morning when we woke up which was usually between five and six every day………..
