My dream was to be there for my kids when they are born, but that didn’t happen. I got put in DT when my daughter was born. I was on the way to the hospital, and I went into the emergency room to go to here room. There were two cops waiting for me in front of her room. I got arrested a foot in front of the door of where my daughter was getting ready to be born at. The cops were so disrespectful to my family because they made a big scene in the hospital; They slammed me against the wall and cuffed me. I felt like a bad father because I couldn’t be there, so I just didn’t know what to do and I still can’t live it down. It tore me down for a long time and every time I think of it makes me fill bad and like crap. So if my daughter ever asks me “was you there?” I’m going to have to tell here no because I got arrested for something stupid.

This is really sad.. I'm so sorry that happened to you. I'm sure that your child is going to understand though. Just wait to tell them until they are old enough to now resent you for something kind of dumb.

I have no kids but i can tell that it must really make you feel bad when you think of what happened. Your kids will understand you when you tell them how things went that day.

OH MY GOSH NO WAY!!!! Im so sorry that is the saddest thing ever! That is really stupid. Cops are so ridiculously stupid sometimes. Most of the time, especially in that situation. Im so sorry buddy keep doing good though. Your a great dad I'm sure.
