Lowering the drinking age
Drinking is bad for the body if the person has too much alcohol in them. The drinking age should either stay the same or be upped. People should be wiser, more knowledgeable about the effects of alcohol, and be willing to take responsibility for their actions before being able to drink. To support my argument I have three reasons:
First, although some people would stop drinking because they only drink to rebel, those who like drinking would drink more. There would be more accidents because those who like to drink would get drunker and could cause more accidents due to their drunkenness. People would also drink more because authority can’t catch them for it. People still in school would drink causing trouble in the classroom where others are trying to learn. People barely learning to drive or not very good at driving would create more accidents because they can’t control the car very well with blurred senses.
Second, younger people wouldn’t have to break the law to go against their parents. Younger people would drink because it goes against their parent’s expectations and morals, and because they want to seem independent of their parents. People that are still underage could claim they are older. People could also claim that it’s their right to drink because the state said. Nothing is a person’s right until they earn it.
And third, some people would use the law against itself. People could say they are aloud to drink and the authority can’t do anything about it. People could say the law isn’t firm if it gets changed. People could also push the legislature by saying ‘you changed it once, you can change it again’.
To conclude, people don’t really get why they shouldn’t drink. People have hazed senses when they drink and could be a bigger harm to society if the drinking age is lowered. People could also be driven be those hazed senses and the liking of alcohol to push the legislature farther than they want to. If the drinking age were to be lowered people who like to drink would complain, or for some, rebel if it were to be upped to what it is. For these reasons, the drinking age shouldn’t be lowered.

Music
I really like old music and new soft music. I don’t like the way some songs sound/ flow. Some of the music we have now days, I would not think to be actual music, kind-of like rap.
I don’t like rap because it doesn’t have very much music, if any at all.
Rap has its flow in the words and I think that a lot of rap runs more like wannabe gangster. I like songs that have their flow in the music/melody.
What I would classify as a bad song is a song that has no meaning or feelings behind it. What makes a song suck is when the artist doesn’t want to play/sing the song or the song was played only because others, and not the singer, wanted it.
I don’t think genre matters in a song, aside from a way for some people to define which songs they like or don’t like. There are good songs in every genre.

The Ghost
I believe that the ghost is neither malevolent nor benevolent. I would believe it to be benevolent except that it wants Hamlet to take revenge on his uncle, Claudius.
I think it’s more malevolent because of its wants.
I believe it to be Hamlet’s decision as to whether the ghost’s visit is made malevolent or benevolent. I believe that, if Hamlet takes revenge on Claudius, then the ghost’s visit was made malevolent, and if Hamlet doesn’t, then the ghost’s visit was made to be it’s own decision.
The ghost is going to tell Hamlet that Claudius killed him by pouring a poisonous vial into King Hamlet’s. It will change Hamlet’s reasoning for why he does things.
Hamlet will act like he’s going insane to deceive those around him because it’s easier to kill the King if nobody suspects you of anything.

Love
I believe that the quote from Mama to Beneatha is true because when someone needs love is also the hardest time to love them, but I also think that times like that are the times when love can either break or make a person.
I think that people judge others by what they look like or, if they don’t, then by what their personality is like. I don’t think that people usually judge by why people act the way they do. People need to think about what has happened in others past before they judge their personality.
I think that people expect that others would judge them by what they see and everything after that is altered or different because they had an opinion of you before they got to know you.

Heritage
Heritage is what you were given, who you are, and what you are. What you get from your parents, grandparents, etc. is heritage no-matter what it is. I think that what you are is partly heritage because you might do something different or abnormal just because of heritage.
I think that what you are is partly, if not completely, heritage. My reason is you don’t get part American just from living in America. You aren’t American just from being accepted as one or from living in America for very long. Someone is only American from being born in America or being a descendant of someone who was born in America.

Impressing
What is the point of just saying the good things about yourself when you are trying to spark up a bigger relationship? If it’s going to be a short relationship, and you know that, then just the good things about you is good, but if you want it to be a long relationship, you should say the good things about yourself and the bad things within bounds.
I don’t like to have short-lived relationships, so I like to tell people things or let them know over time so that they get used to me. I would let them know if I like them and let them have the option of making the relationship bigger.
At the beginning of any relationship, there is immediately some trust and relationships usually need a lot more trust. I’m not good at giving that trust, so I don’t get to deep into the friendship of others. I feel like going any deeper without giving them more trust would be like invading their privacy.

The Blues
I don’t know what the purpose of the Blues is but the reason I listen to sad music, like the Blues, specifically is because I get down sometimes and sad music get me thinking about my troubles, their troubles, and comparing them.
I find that when I listen to sad music I stop thinking about how horrible my life seems to me. I usually find that when I compare my troubles to theirs, theirs come on top of mine. Partly because their sadness was deep enough to sing a song about it to let the whole world know about why the person is so sad.
I usually listen to hard rock when I’m mad because it seems to me that they’re mad also and I can ‘blend’ my anger with theirs. I find sad songs better at these times because I usually stop being angry when I stop thinking about myself.

Environment
The first quote says that our environment does not control us. The second quote says that the environment is responsible for what we do or controls us. I completely agree with the first quote and believe that the second quote is wrong but not completely wrong.
I believe that a human is responsible for it’s own actions. I believe that the environment helps us do something or helps us make the decision to do something but is not responsible for our actions or us. For example: On the island Ralph was trying to get rescued while Jack was only after the excitement of killing and the meat from the native animals.
I think that evil cannot be in genetics but can stay with genes and can be with environment but I think that evil can move around. I do not think that people can start evil, but that they can become evil, and I do not think that the evil in a person has to come out eventually. I think that a person can suppress what evil that there is with them. For example: It was after they had been on the island for a few months that Jack started becoming savage, another is: They had been used to killing when they mistook Simon for ‘the beast’ and killed him.

Halloween
My favorite Halloween was last years Halloween. I dressed up as a basketball player. I want with some of my siblings to a place in-between our houses. It was around the place where one of my best friends used to live. We, naturally, went to like five long streets averaging about seventy or eighty houses. At about half of the houses I got to scare some of my siblings because they were dark and my siblings were young. I don’t think that I have a least favorite Halloween because they were all fun.
I think that Halloween should be moved back a day so that Halloween wouldn’t be celebrated on All Hallows Eve. I think that Halloween and All Hallows Eve is the same thing, so we should celebrate them on the same day instead of different days, but I think that we people messed this up as well. I also think that Halloween is a discrimination of All Hallows Eve. I think that All Hallows Eve is supposed to be a time where you respect not only your dead but also everybody’s dead.

Knowledge and Wisdom #2
I think that knowledge is what is learned and what is experienced. Some say that with knowledge comes power and that with power comes responsibility. This is true and not true. The reason it’s true is because when you know something you can use it to your advantage. That’s the power part and this is the anti of it. If you know something and someone else knows it also then neither of you has more potential or power. The thing that is different between you and others that don’t know the same thing is that you have more power over them because you know something they don’t.
What usually defines who has more power is wisdom. People get wisdom through experience. Those who are powerful but not wise are usually tyrants while those who are either very wise or both wise and powerful are the great people of the world.
The difference is what you do with the knowledge that defines wisdom.

Civilization is hideously fragile. In other words there are many things that can disrupt or change civilization. Everybody has their own faults that make them less than and equal to everybody else, and everybody has strengths that make them better than and equal to everybody else. In other words everybody is equal because their strengths equal out their Weaknesses.
Civilization is everything that a human can do that an animal can’t do, communicate, hate, and love. Savage is what humans do because of civilization that make them worse than animals, or things that humans do because of civilization that animals can’t or won’t do.
The U.S. isn’t any more savage than it is civil. It’s civil because we try to help each other usually (fellow Americans and people from other nations). Why the U.S. is savage is because we go kill other armies and try to control other countries.
Because we have the potential to be civil or savage it makes us the most dangerous race of animals. This enables us to be either the best race or animals or the worst. Humans either kill because they are greedy, after revenge, or are ordered by another human to.

Knowledge & Wisdom
I think that knowledge is what is learned and experienced. I think that one could be knowledgeable but not wise or wise and not knowledgeable.
Some say that with knowledge comes power and responsibility. I think that in some ways that this is true. I think that with knowledge you are able to do a lot, which is power, but that you should control what you do with the power, which is responsibility.
Knowledge being power isn’t true because if you know something it doesn’t stop someone else from knowing it. If two people know the same thing then they have the same power.
The difference between knowledge and wisdom is knowledge is what you know and have experienced. Wisdom is what you do with what you know.

Good Leaders
Good Leaders
What I think makes a good leader is love and devotion to the people they are leading. I think there is a difference between just being a leader and being a true leader.
A leader is simply a person who leads people or controls people. It doesn’t depend on how the leader leads his people so long as they are the one leading the people. A leader could contol his people by force or military might or they could lead his people through money. A leader could lead his people by manipulation or bribing the original leaders to gain control. They could also lead by trickery or false teaching.
A true leader would lead by true teaching and compassion for their people. A true leader would not use military might or money to keep control or his people. They wouldn’t even control their people, just try to nudge them to the path that they either know or believe as right. A true leader would set a court system to rule over the people. A true leader tries to inspire their people with correct teachings.
I think that a good leader would be someone who puts courts into each city to keep order over the people and churches among them to teach their religion. I think that a true leader would also build an army to protect their people from invading forces. I think that a true leader would be open to suggestions and would still be within the law meaning able to be punished for wrong doings. I think that a true leader would be among their people instead of higher than their people.

Point of View
Point of view
What effects my point of view is others point of view. When a person receives something they make up their mind as to what it is and then passes it on. Therefore it changes from person to person. A person’s emotion usually kicks in and changes it until you don’t mind it or like it when they receive something they don’t like. Emotions are a key reason why people subconsciously change things.
No two people are the same but they may have the same perspective about things. Two different people would view the same thing by what they knew about it, what they believed about it, and what they heard about it. For example, two people could view the same person completely different because they don’t see the same things, believe the same, and heard the same things.
On the other hand, two people could see the same actions and hear the same words but they could believe differently and view that person completely opposite or the exact same. A lot of the time why people label people wrongly or differently than the person wants is because they don’t know the reasons why the person did what they did or they believe differently than the person they are labeling.

Love?
Love?
I don’t think you need to know someone very well or at all to say that you love the person. I think that ,you should know, but you don’t need to know, the person very well to say that you love them. I think that you’re wrong if you think that it’s a time-based thing to be able to say that you love someone. I think that Kaira and Armpit don’t know each other well enough to be lovers and/or boyfriend and girlfriend because I think that the two people in love should know each other well enough to trust each other.
I would say, however, that two people that knew each other for that long could know each other well enough to say, truthfully, that they love each other. I don’t think that love is time based because if it were then there would be no term ‘love at first sight’. I personally know from experience that a lot of the time when you think that you love someone that you are probably tricking/lying to/or convinced yourself that you love the person. In any case when you think you love someone and you haven’t known the person for a long time then your probably lying to yourself.

Truth
Truth.
What is the truth? What is the difference between me/your truth and the truth?
The truth is what is actually true, not what we think is truth. Our truth is corrupt and isn’t actually what truth. Our truth is usually not even near what the actual truth is. Our truth is corrupt with our thinking and concentration. Usually the truth that we think is true is first thought which is downed on by our concentration.
The truth isn’t what we think, our first thoughts and our concentrated thoughts, but is actually hidden from us by out thinking. First thoughts are impulsive and depend on our mood and surroundings. Concentrated thoughts are first thoughts corrupted by our definition of logic, which is usually incorrect. Impulsivity is us acting on first thought.
When we receive the actual truth we usually believe it to be wrong because we take it and run it through our logic and mold the truth until it is how we want it to be. We mold it into our truth. If we can’t see truth in our own feelings, perceptions, and observations then we can’t see truth because when we receive the truth we corrupt it with our logic and excuses.
