A. Overcoming adversity and challenges
In the movie hotel Rwanda the charter Paul over came challenges when he had to make the employs work when they refused what happened was the employs wouldn’t work because the boss left to the United States. He got them to work by getting the letter from the boss over the phone and had him fax it to them that’s how he made them work,
Another was when the army came to his house and took everybody out of the house and he had to take them to get something. The army found out the people were tutsie and they don’t like the tutsie so he had to find a way to keep them from killing them so he paid the army off. That is how overcame that challenge.
The biggest challenge was staying calm with all the killing and other things he stayed calm and didn’t panic he did that by focusing on his job and his family.


b. Tolerance
In the movie hotel Rwanda Paul had to tolerate the UN saying you are nothing but dirt and we should not help you because you are black and he had to tolerate and he stayed calm.
He had to tolerate the workers that didn’t listen to him and he had to embaressed himself to get them to work and he was embaressed by calling the boss in the states and asking to Wright a letter to the workers saying you need to work.
The un personal had to tolerate the Hutus and the tutsis even when the Hutus killed a un personal the general had to tolerate not shooting them and the orders he got he had to tolerate because the orders were not to help them.

c. Heroes
The UN was Paul’s heroes because the general stayed there to help even when he was not supposed to and because he was brave and nice to him even though Paul was a Hutu.

Another heroes to Paul was the camra man from the untied states because he went out of the safe zone to get some footage and he risked his life for it and he forced his boss to watch it and to put it on the TV.

If you are going through hell keep going
I think the guy that is saying this he means. Don’t give up keep trying because if you are going through hell then you are doing good because it goes bad before it goes good so if you keep going that if will get better but it will take time before it starts getting better.

Would you change you life if you could. I wouldn’t because it would not make me who I am. Every the bad things because know I can look back and say at lest I'm not living that again. That makes me feel better. Do you live you life on the edge or do you live it straight. Like if you came to a fork in the road and you was in the hills on road was fun and safe and you knew were it went. But the other road was winedy and dangerous and you don’t know were it goes or what will happen. What one would you take? I would take the dangerous road. Do you use four-wheel drive to get you out of trouble or do you use it to get into trouble. I use it to get into trouble because if you don’t push it then you don’t know were the point of brake is. How far do you push a truck in the hills. I push my truck tell it stops or tell it rolls I don’t stop because if I don’t then I don’t know how fare I dare to go.

Prom it was cool I’m glad I decided to go because I had fun. That was the first time I have went to prom. I’ve had chances to go to others but I always went and got drunk instead. Everybody looked good at prom and a lot more people came then I thought there was going to be. I just wish I wasn’t in Procter care for it. I wish I could have wired my baby blue suit but it had a hole in it and I didn’t now it tell it was too late. But it was kind of different that they had games. They didn’t that many good songs slum were good but not all. The supervision were cool and mostly all of them dressed up for it and danced too and I thought that was cool that they started to dance and stuff with us.

Narrative: Body Paragraphs

The day started out with my dad and me working on his jeep, but we started to argue and didn’t agree about how the engine goes in it and how we can make it work. We always argued, but the next day we didn’t argue this day so he asked me to go with him to salt lake with him. So we got packed and got the drugs to go to his friends with him. He lat me drive the car to salt lake, we was having a good time.

We got to Provo and we decided to eat and I things to talk about but I didn’t know how to tell him so I put it off. So we ate and then we went and out and spent a lot of money on jewelry, four wheelers and other things that we didn’t need. The day was still good and we finally arrived at his friend’s house and they went to the other room will I stayed out in the living room. I hired yelling and then I seen my dad fall in front of me and his face was all messed up. One of the guys got on top of him and started to hit him so I punched the guy in the face. Then they stared to hit. More and more people stated to hit us and they pulled out their guns and dragged us out side into a alleyway. I thought we were going to die so I decided to tell him.

He finally just flipped out and jumped up and started to hit some of the people and one fell. My dad took his gun and fired at another guy, that’s when they all took off and then he looked at me with the gun in his hand saying,” who is pregnant?” He had a crazy look in his eyes so I was scared to tell him that he is going to be a grandpa. but I told him. He didn’t say anything he just dropped the gun and said, “let’s get to the hospital.” At the hospital we talked about it and that’s the first time I’ve ever seen him cry in front of me. He had mixed emotions he just said as long as you are happy I will always be there for you.

Narrative Introduction

“Dad, she’s pregnant.” I said as I lay down on the cold concert in an alleyway, with my dad lying next to me. With a group of people around us with guns pointing at our bodies. Every time one of us said something, we get hit a crossed the face with a barrel of a gun. Thoughts go racing throw my mind. Our knuckles are bloody as well as our face. There’s blood draining down through the alleyway, a mix of theirs and ours. I just want to go home, but the way it looks is we are going somewhere but not home. Tears run down my face as one of the guys grab me. My dad says get your hand off my son. Then smack he got hit in the face with a gun. They beat me and threw me down by my dad. My dad looks and me and said, “Who’s pregnant?” I said, “Who do you think?”

Not one, not two, but dozens will fallow this guys come in as gangs.
They’re armed to the teeth. One false move and you’re really dead.
On the floor scumbag they say. The Iran of the cuffs are cold to the touch.

A bottle tells me to come back its my life my dreams I drink. The bottle is evil with a label. I say no don’t come to me. Stay away, it keeps coming closer to my heat more then my hand. I give in the liquid flows threw my body like blood flows threw my veins. The liquid in the bottle burns. It’s a killer to the kidneys they scream but not like my liver begs me to stop. I drop to my knees to beg like a dog hailing to the moon. I ask god to help. My shirt is ripped the smell keeps the flies away. As I cry.
Its dark only the moon is shining as I cry in a ally. I keep falling like a wounded solder but I’m not a hero. The bottle falls with me. It’s glued to my hand. I’m killing my self but it fills good. The bad goes away only good fillings to me. A kid sees me she starts crying in the dark I'm ashamed I know that girl. It’s my daughter that’s crying. We’re in hell and I’m the devil.

Life poem


They tell you life is all about glamour, money, and fame. They say that if you buy those one-hundred dollar shoes you will become insanely famous, that if you buy
A fifty-thousand dollar suit you will be like James Bond and get all the girls. But that isn’t life.
Real life is watching your best friend die from a gunshot, parents doing drugs just
A room away, and there is no one to, no one to care. It’s drowning in an ocean of
Depression, sinking farther and farther down not knowing if your swimming up or
Down but knowing, dying for a breath of fresh sweet air.
And just as you hit the sand and begin to slowly sink through it and into that black
Void a hand comes down and pulls you up. It could be someone taking you to
Prom, or getting to say “I do” at your wedding, it would simply be your baby’s first smile.
These are the breaths of air to keep going. Money is just something to help
You survive in this world, the past is gone, the future a distant promise, but the present is a gift worth savoring.

Freedom
Freedom to me is doing what you want. I could make my own decision and I also could make my own consequence. But mostly freedom is worth fighting for. If I had to give my life for freedom I would because it would not be my freedom anymore, but it would be my daughters, my family’s freedom. I think America has the most freedom then anywhere because it gave my family freedom and a job. Without freedom I don’t think we could do have the things we do know like go to school, get a job. Like in Germany when Hitler was alive the kids would have to solute him every time they went out the door. If we didn’t have freedom maybe we would have to do something like that.
So when I think of freedom I think about all the people that gave their lives for us to do, what we do, and of all the people that are fighting for us, I also think of how may people in my family that fought for my freedom.

Do you fill old? Because I fill old. Like for me I fill old because I have two kids that are 3 and 4 years old. I know people that are in there 30’s that have kids that are the same age. When I tell somebody I have a 3 and a 4 year old they say god your old or they say how old are you. I also done thing that teen usually don’t do. Like I’m also more mature then most 18 year old and I’ve been able to go places, see thing that 30 year olds do and got to see in there life time. Me going to graduate from high school make me fill old too. So that’s how I fill a lot of the times and it just makes me fill old. Like all I need to do know is to get marred then I will be old not just fill old.

Hamlets attitude toward Gertrude and Ophelia is not that good he was an ass to them. He treated them like crap. When he does treat them good he doesn’t treat them like that for long. He treats them good when he does and he is really nice to them and respectful when he is nice to them. He gives them attitude, he also is not respectful and he says things to make them mad and to insult them. Like to his mom he says thing about his dad like to make her mad.
To Ophelia he was rude to her and he also pushed her a lot. He would say things that would make her mad and he would say thing to her that would make her cry.
He would tell her that he doesn’t love her. But I think he did it just because he wanted people to think he is crazy. But he was also nice to her and showed a lot of emotions to her.
To his mom he is not acting he is really mad at her because she marred his uncle and he says thing that will make her mad. He would want to make her mad not by saying it he would also do thing like the play he did for his mom and his step dad.

The driving age should not be lowered. Some reasons are not responsible enough, money, and may cause more wrecks.
First is the teen is not responsible enough. The teenager will have to start knowing where to check the oil and they have to start checking it. They will also have to start working to get money to pay for gas and other things, but some aren’t responsible enough to get a job or to keep a job.
Second is they will have money issues. They will have to pay for the insurance it will be high to pay. Another is they will have to pay for check ups on the car. They also may have to work hard to get a job for the money to pay for the things; they will have to be responsibly enough to pay for the things.
Some people may say they should bring down the driving age. They can do errands for their parents. It will teach them how to be responsible.
Finally the teens could cause more wrecks. They aren’t responsibly enough to pay attention to the road and other objects. They could be playing on their cell phones or with the radio to cause a wreck. They wouldn’t take driving seriously.
Those are the reasons why they should not lower the driving age.

If I had a little sister and she was ready to date, I would say to her you should wait till you are ready to date. You should get to know them, and about them before you date them. If you date and they hurt you, You will get over it might take awhile but you will find some one better too. Don’t have sex with them especially if you aren’t going to be with them for a long, long time or if you aren’t going to merry them. I would tell my daughter don’t date anybody that I disapprove of. I need to meet them before you go out with them. Don’t have sex with them and if you do, Do not let me heir about it because you will be in trouble. Because you don’t want to get pregnant and have kids when you’re not even in high school yet. It will just make you life a lot harder. You don’t want to be like me and have two kids before you even get to high school.

If I ever had to tell my daughter how it is when she moves out, I would tell her it is hard. Things will get difficult but do not give up. If you ever need anything, you can just call don’t be scared to ask for help because I’m still you dad and I will help you with any thing. If you go to school, it will get hard but it will be worth it because when you are done you will be able to make a lot of money. You will not drop out of school.

Impressing
I don’t think you should have to do anything to impress someone you should just be yourself. If you are not being yourself then you are just putting on a face. What would you say to that person? I think you should just wing it, and see what happens if anything you will look like an idiot. You can always fix it some how. What would you want the person to know about? It is up to you. Like for me I want them to know everything so that way if I go on a date with that person it won’t be a shock to them when I say I have two kids. So I think it is better if they know a lot about you. You need to have a good conation before you try to make a date or something like that. The only part that suck is when they are already in a relationship and you can’t be with them.

I think women can do anything that guys can if not more. It doesn’t matter if it is a boring job or a dangerous job. I think it is a good thing that women are brave enough to do the dangerous jobs. I don’t think there should be only guy’s jobs. Because if a guy can do it then a women can do it too; maybe even better than a guy. There are some women coal miners in Price. Some women think they are no good if they don’t have a good life, but I don’t think it is true. The women can have a great life even if they don’t get married. It doesn’t make the women any less if they don’t get married. If anything they can do more if they don’t get married at a young age.

My dream was to be there for my kids when they are born, but that didn’t happen. I got put in DT when my daughter was born. I was on the way to the hospital, and I went into the emergency room to go to here room. There were two cops waiting for me in front of her room. I got arrested a foot in front of the door of where my daughter was getting ready to be born at. The cops were so disrespectful to my family because they made a big scene in the hospital; They slammed me against the wall and cuffed me. I felt like a bad father because I couldn’t be there, so I just didn’t know what to do and I still can’t live it down. It tore me down for a long time and every time I think of it makes me fill bad and like crap. So if my daughter ever asks me “was you there?” I’m going to have to tell here no because I got arrested for something stupid.

Why do we listen to sad songs?
I think we listen to sad music because we want to know that there is at least somebody out there that fills the same. It can also be that we don’t want to be happy for that moment too. We listen to sad music to keep us in the mood. Some people just want to fill sad or just want to listen to some sad songs. I listen to sad county song when I’m sad because you can relate to it and it isn’t like the blues because the blues is just depressing to me. Some Times County makes me fill better but not all the time. Like a lot of the times when I’m sad I don’t what to be cheered up. I want to stay sad for that moment because the next day I will know what to do so I don’t make the same mistake. Tell me why you listen to sad music.

Free write

When I go on my home visit for thanksgiving I’m going to bring back my cowboy boots, and my hat so I can wear them. I don’t care what people think because I’m just being me, and I think everybody should just be themselves instead of a front for school. Also when I go on my home visit I’m going to see my daughters, and I get to play the Greek game that I misted last year. I get to see my fat dog too which that will be nice, and I’m going to go noodleing too, but it is going to be really cold. Which if you don’t know what noodleing it’s when you go in a river and fill for a hole at the bottom of the river. As soon as you find a hole you stick you hand and arm down the hole and if there is a catfish in the hole it will get your hand and try to swallow it. Once that happens you pole you arm out of the hole and you should have a big catfish on you arm. It is also called redneck fishing.

I think Halloween is good because it lets kids get candy. The kids and adults can dress up in a costume to be somebody else. It’s also a bad thing because kids can get scared and people can kidnap kids and poison candy. It lets kids use their imagination.

My least favorite memory is when my sister and I was tricker treating. Some kids tried to take my sisters candy so I jumped in to help her. So when they seen me coming for them they got scared and ran or that is what it looked like to me? They really just ran behind me and stared to hit me in the back of the head. I was hurt so bad I had to go to the hospital; they also took my candy.

My favorite is when I took my daughter for the first time; she was just fascinated by everything. She was scared of some costumes and she stared to cry it was sad and funny at the same time. When she stopped crying she wanted to go back to my house instead of her moms house so on the way back we racked up some leafs and jumped in them.
